"Moon River" was a song sung by Audrey Hepburn in the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's.This song was written by Henry Mancini.He also composed many of Audrey's films' sound tracks.He said that Audrey inspired him to write this song and it had Audrey's quality of wistfulness.
However,when the head of Paramount previewed the film,he did not believe that Audrey's singing was special enough and said that the song had to go.After that statement was told,Audrey got up from her chair and Mel Ferrer had to restrain her arm.
I understand what Audrey must have felt when that happened.
